Embedding Lean Six Sigma management methodology into the corporate culture provides a distinct competitive advantage by enhancing the organizational and leadership capabilities. This capability to drive Lean Six Sigma into the fabric of an organization's culture is further enhanced by the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts (MBB's) who serves as catalysts of change and strategic resources for driving enterprise-wide improvements to maximize business efficiency and growth opportunities, thereby building the organizations’ profit capabilities in a sustained manner.
The ASQ Master Black Belt Workshop is a niche program, based on ASQ MBB BoK, that teaches the right balance of technical and management skills that an MBB must showcase to play a critical role in an organization’s metamorphosis. Master Black Belts act as change agents in inculcating a culture of organizational excellence. They are experts in change management and advanced statistics and help in transforming an organization's business performance. Aside from guiding in project selection and reviewing projects, they mentor and teach other belts. One significant differentiator of a successful master black belt is their ability to coach the senior management.
