The credential that signals permanent problem-solving capability.
Most process problems get fixed temporarily. ASQ Six Sigma certification trains you to fix them permanently — using a structured methodology that identifies root causes, tests solutions against data, and locks improvements in through control systems.
You move from executing tasks to leading improvement programmes.
The DMAIC framework is the language of process excellence — Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control. Mastering it changes how you see every operational problem you encounter. The ASQ credential proves you have been independently tested on this discipline by a 80-year-old standards body, not handed a certificate by your employer or training provider.
ASQ credentials issued worldwide since 1998 — the standard hiring managers at global manufacturers recognise instantly.
Core Competencies
Choose the belt that matches where you are.
Three ASQ Six Sigma certifications. Each one independently validated. Your advisor confirms which level you qualify for before any fee is discussed.
You learn the language of Six Sigma — how to read improvement projects, contribute to DMAIC teams, and understand what Black and Green Belts are doing around you.
You lead improvement projects alongside your regular role. The credential most working engineers pursue first — proves to employers that you can own a DMAIC project end to end.
You lead cross-functional improvement programmes full-time. The credential that puts you in contention for Process Excellence, Quality Head, and senior manufacturing leadership roles.

DMAIC is the discipline. Six Sigma is the standard.
The ASQ exam tests whether you can apply DMAIC tools to real process problems — not whether you can recite definitions. Five phases, structured progression, application-focused throughout.
Six Sigma trained professionals earn $16,411 more on average than uncertified peers, per the ASQ Quality Progress Salary Survey. The premium widens at each belt level.
Define through Control — every phase tested with application-focused questions, not definition recall. Mock exams structured identically to the live ASQ test.
Since 1992, ASQ has certified over 200,000 Six Sigma practitioners. The credential pool that hiring managers at global manufacturers recognise on sight.
Structured training or direct certification.

The credential that moves with you through every role change.
An ASQ certification is one of the few credentials directly tied to financial outcomes — cost saved, defects reduced, throughput improved. That measurability is why it commands a salary premium at every belt level.

Which ASQ Six Sigma belt should I pursue?
It depends on your experience and role. Yellow Belt requires no prior experience. Green Belt requires 3 years of work experience in the field — the most common starting point for working professionals. Black Belt requires 3 years in a decision-making role. Your advisor confirms the right level in minutes, before any fee is discussed.
What is the difference between the training fee and the ASQ exam fee?
The training programme fee comprises all live instructional sessions, comprehensive study materials, mock exam, and expert guidance. The ASQ certification exam registration fee is a separate cost, paid directly to ASQ US when you schedule your appointment at a Prometric testing center.. Both are communicated clearly before any commitment is made.
Do I need a completed Six Sigma project for Black Belt?
ASQ does not require a completed project as a prerequisite for the CSSBB exam. You need to meet the experience requirement — 3 years in a decision-making role in the field. Having led real improvement projects significantly strengthens your preparation and your application.
Are classes held on weekdays or weekends for trainings?
Weekend-only — all sessions run on Saturdays and Sundays. Session recordings are available if you miss a class. The programme is designed for professionals who cannot take leave from weekday work commitments.
